In February 2025, OncoLab participated in the K-Bio Venture Partnering Event held at Shonan iPark in Japan, seeking collaboration opportunities with global pharmaceutical companies and investors. This event was designed to support the expansion of global networks for promising Korean bio ventures and to strengthen cooperation with Japanese and global pharmaceutical companies.
During the event, OncoLab introduced its ANGel platform technology and engaged in discussions with Astellas, Johnson & Johnson, and Nippon Fine Chemical. Notably, OncoLab conducted a follow-up meeting with Astellas at its Tokyo headquarters. In addition, Johnson & Johnson agreed to review the technology internally before discussing potential collaboration, while Nippon Fine Chemical explored the possibility of R&D collaboration, with further discussions planned.
Furthermore, OncoLab met with representatives from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to discuss government support policies and strategies for entering global markets. The company received practical advice on government initiatives supporting bio ventures and expanding global networks, along with positive feedback on potential future collaboration.
Through this partnering event, OncoLab further strengthened its global collaboration network and laid the groundwork for exploring future cooperation opportunities with various companies and institutions.
